Sauerkraut Seth has been making sauerkraut and other fermented vegetables since 1998.
Seth created and developed the line of Hawthorne Valley Farm’s lacto fermented vegetables from 1999 until 2012. In 2012 he founded Sauerkraut Seth’s.
In 2018 Sauerkraut Seth’s licensed with Whitethorne, a lacto-fermented vegetable processing plant in Hudson NY that also manufactures Hawthorne Valley Farm Sauerkraut and Poor Devil Hot Pepper Sauces.
Sauerkraut Seth’s Famous Sauerkraut is raw, unpasteurized and lacto-fermented. It is full of beneficial bacteria. It is also delicious. The vegetables we use are from farmers who use sustainable farming practices. Only Vegetables and unrefined sea salt are used.
Our products use vegetables and fruit from certified organic farms from the Northeast including: Markristo Farm in Hillsdale, NY, and Hepworth Farms in Milton, NY.
Seth’s wife, Mairead owns and operates Flowerkraut, a retail store in Hudson, NY. Flowerkraut sells the full line of Sauerkraut Seth’s products.
Seth is also a songwriter, singer upright bass player, and guitarist who plays with the band The Wiyos.
